Do I need a card for the free week?
Yes. R1 is taken to check the card and refunded automatically. Nothing else is charged during the week, and if you cancel before it ends you pay nothing. If you do nothing, your plan starts when the week ends.
Do children need email addresses?
Never. At home, children are profiles under your account. At school, a learner joins with a class code and picks their own username and password. We store a first name or nickname and a grade — nothing else.
How do schools pay?
By card, monthly or yearly, or by debit order from the school's bank account. If your school needs an invoice and EFT, or a formal quote for procurement, get in touch and we will arrange it.
What if we outgrow a plan?
Move up whenever. You pay only the difference for the time you have already paid for. If you have more than 450 learners, get in touch and we'll sort out something sensible rather than making you buy two plans.
What counts as a "learner place"?
One child with a profile. If a learner leaves, a teacher removes them and the place frees up immediately for someone else.
Do we get an invoice?
Yes, for every payment. It is numbered, emailed as a PDF the moment the payment goes through, and kept on your plan page. You can put your school's registered name, address, VAT number and your own order number on it, and have a copy sent to your accounts office.
What happens when a yearly plan reaches the end of its year?
We write to you a few months before. A school's plan renews for another year unless you change or cancel it. A family's plan, or one held by one person such as a tutor, never starts another year by itself: unless you choose another year it carries on month to month, and you can stop whenever you like.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from your account page. No phone call, no retention script. You keep access until the end of the month or year you've paid for.
